MTSL HELPS YOUNG LIFE – Josie Nick

Jossie Nick is a young infant of about 10 months who suffers from a rare medical condition which has resulted in a rapid growth tissue over her nose and left eye.
Specialist doctors at Port Moresby General Hospital (POMGH) are not sure whether it is a Haemangioma or Sarcoma.

Jossie’s father is a policemen in Hagen with the mobile squad, but since Jossie was referred to POMGH from Kundiawa in November 2014 her father has left
employment. The cost for Jossie’s treatment is likely to be between K120,000 – K150, 000 if treatment is sought overseas, this will cover testing, actual operation and recovery.

Because of this, they now have no other means to save their young daughter and have approached business houses to assist them with raising funds so Jossie can
get treatment overseas.

MTSL came to the aid of Jossie with a donation of K10, 000 to assist her with her medical treatment, pictured above is Jossie and her parents receiving the cheque from MTSL General Manager – Corporate Affairs Carolyn Gall.
