A former program manager with PNG Sustainable development, Lawrence has worked in government, business, faith based and non-government organizations in PNG since 1976. His interests include sustainable development and improved governance in organizations, institutions and communities.

He has had a long term involvement in social and political advocacy, management, team leadership, public and NGO governance.

Lawrence graduated from the Australian National University with a Bachelor in Arts (Political Science / Sociology), he has extensive experience in most provinces of PNG and is also a naturalized citizen of PNG.
